Exploring Art and Building Community in Burlington, VT

Guests were treated to an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres over delightful conversation before hearing from Head of School Dr. Jennifer L. Zaccara about Vermont Academy’s fall term, recent renovations, and more!

Visual Arts Department Chair Lisa Eckhardt McNealus ’79 guided attendees through the process she implements when introducing students to an art exhibition. Attendees took turns sharing one-word responses when asked what the piece made them think, what they saw, and how it made them feel.
