On Tuesday, November 19, alumni, former faculty, families, and friends of Vermont Academy gathered to kick off the holiday season with a reception at The BCA Center in Burlington, VT.
With 2025 almost upon us, the Class of 2015 will soon be celebrating their 10-year reunion. We asked a few members of the class to reflect on their time at VA and share some of their experiences since graduating. They have taken different paths, but one thing they all have in common is the lessons they learned at VA and the common experience of a teacher or staff member whose mentorship made an impact.
Three alumni -- Chad Wittman ’98, Brooke Mooney ’14, and Jim Frey ’66 -- were inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 19. The Vermont Academy Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1982 to recognize and honor those persons who have made outstanding contributions to the Vermont Academy athletic program and beyond.
On Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 a.m., Vermont Academy will induct two athletes – Brooke Mooney ’14 and Chad Wittman ’98 – and one special contributor – James “Jim” Frey ’66 into the Athletic Hall of Fame during the Old Home Days & Family Weekend festivities.
