This year's team is a mix of four experienced designers, coders, builders, and operators who worked hard on the systems as well as making the seven new members feel comfortable enough to make significant contributions to the team.  Their design process was very thorough.  They started working on three different systems with all of the components that might be successful and eventually chose the elements that best fit their initial design criteria.  Once at the competition, they continued to improve their team tactics as well as other components that allowed them to set the high score of 129 points in the qualifying rounds.  They finished the qualifying rounds in third place and chose an alliance partner that helped them win and move on to the Vermont State Final rounds.  Their teamwork and desire to improve led them to success and ultimately qualifying for the New England Championships in early April.  This team keeps improving on past Wired Cats successes.
