Snowboarding

The Vermont Academy snowboard team offers training up to six days per week throughout the winter, with optional training opportunities during the fall. In accordance with the athlete's desire and motivation, we provide the opportunity, guidance, and attention that improve both riding and competition skills. We have successfully trained and coached riders from the early stages of turning, jumping, and grinding, to the high school competition level and above to the National level.

When they’re not competing in Lake’s Region races or training at Mount Snow in Dover or Okemo in Ludlow, Vermont Academy athletes use our '77 Snow Park, which includes snowmaking, ski jumps, a modest ski slope, lighting, and a machine grooming.
