Our alpine team skis at some of the best ski resorts in Southern Vermont: Okemo Mountain in Ludlow, Mount Snow in Dover, and Suicide Six in South Pomfret with the Woodstock Ski Runners -- one of the oldest and most distinguished ski clubs in North America. Our Alpine team is on snow five days a week and competing at least one day a week. Our athletes are able to compete at the highest level of competition (USSS/FIS) and receive coaching from USSS certified coaches. Our athlete’s degree of success is dependent only on their desire and ability.

 

Vermont Academy will support any athlete who qualifies for top level competition, as long as they maintain solid academic and social standing.

When they’re not competing in Lake’s Region races or training in the southern Green Mountains, Vermont Academy athletes use our '77 Snow Park, which includes snowmaking, ski jumps, a modest ski slope, lighting, and grooming.
