Free Throws Down The Stretch Seal The Win

The Wildcats hosted the Wildcats of Dublin in the first game of a back-to-back game weekend.  VA came ready to play.  Determined defense and effective ball movement led to an early lead, but Dublin clawed back by taking advantage of sloppy turnovers and missed free throws.  VA again jumped out to a lead to start the second half, but was stymied by a 1-3-1 trap defense.  VA fell behind, but started to figure out how to break the trap for easy baskets.  VA made free throws down the stretch to seal the win 65-60.
