Tough Loss

The Wildcats hosted an undefeated Winchendon team on Wednesday.  Tuesday's practice emphasized fast-break fundamentals, and VA was able build a first half lead by forcing three point shots, rebounding effectively, and pushing the ball up the court.  Winchendon capitalized on a flurry of late turnovers to take a lead into halftime, then built on that lead by getting the ball inside against the Widlcat zone defense.  Final score: VA falls 73 to 53.
