The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards 2025

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards have celebrated and honored the creativity of young artists and writers across the country for over 100 years. Presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, a non-profit organization dedicated to spotlighting exceptional student talent, the awards provide a platform for recognition, exhibition, publication, and scholarship opportunities.
We are excited to congratulate the Vermont Academy students who earned Scholastic Art & Writing Awards at the state level this year. Awarded to our students were one Gold Key, three Silver Keys, and ten Honorable Mentions. Gold Key awards are automatically considered for awards at the national level.

Their works, along with the other award-winning pieces from students throughout Vermont, will be exhibited at the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center (BMAC) from February 14 - March 8, 2025, culminating in an awards ceremony on Saturday, March 8, at 12:00 pm and will feature keynote speaker Will Kasso Condry, a visual artist, graffiti scholar, and educator based in Brandon, VT.
