Tough Loss

The JV Wildcats hosted the Cardigan Mountain School (CMS) for their first home game of the season.  The Wildcats worked well once they settled into a half-court offense, especially when getting the ball into the paint, but struggled to get consistent clean possessions against CMS's feisty trap defense.  The Wildcats trailed early but closed the gap at halftime.  VA continued to close the gap against the CMS starters in the second half before running out of gas late, falling 80-65.
