“VA JV took on Gould Academy’s Varsity squad on Saturday. It was a competitive, physical, and fast-paced game from start to finish. VA found the net first around the 20th minute of the first half on a powerful shot from Kevin S. at the top of the box. VA held the lead until around the 30th minute of the second half when Gould pulled even. Minutes later Makena L. made a fantastic diving save to keep the game even. VA had opportunities later in the game, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a hard fought, well-matched game.”
