VA Vs. Putney

Va played Putney on a rainy Monday, 4/15. VA started off strong with Ellie Matte scoring the first goal three minutes into the half. Maggy Peyton, Sydney Henry, and Maggie Hodgson perfected the draw control for most of the game and the Wildcats had many scoring opportunities. While VA controlled a lot of the game, Putney did have five shots on goal-- all saved by Kristyna Kaltounkova who had her first shut out for the Wildcats. Kelly Citera and Sydney Henry both had three goals each for VA; Ellie Matte and Maggy Peyton each scored two. Riley Walsh, Maggie Hodgson, Jenna Powers, and Sophie Streed all netted one goal each. It was a good day to be a Wildcat!
