Announcing the Results of the 2024 Vermont Academy Alumni Association Election
The Vermont Academy Alumni Association’s (VAAA) Alumni Council is thrilled to announce the election of Vice President Sean Bersell ’77 and Secretary Eddie Miller ’15. Current VAAA Vice President Kate (Marshuetz) Double ’91 will become president and, along with Sean and Eddie, will serve on the VAAA executive committee.
Further congratulations to Allegra Handler ’13, Lizzie (Mackey) Dings ’12, and David Morse ’58 who were elected to serve two three-year terms; to George Welles ’53 who was elected to serve a one-year term followed by a three-year term; and to Casey Walsh ’14 who will serve one three-year term. Newly elected Alumni Councilors and the incoming leadership team will assume office on July 1, 2024.
We are deeply grateful for the outstanding leadership of current VAAA President George Atkins ’15.
Vermont Academy is a coed college preparatory boarding and day school in southern Vermont, serving grades 9-12 plus a postgraduate year.
