VA vs. KUA

In the most exciting game this season, VA ultimately fell to KUA with a score of 12-13. Maggy Peyton started the scoring with a goal six minutes into the first half. After that, both Wildcat teams stayed neck in neck throughout the entirety of the first half. VA pulled ahead just before the end of the half with goals from Ellie Matte, Riley Walsh, Sydney Henry, and Elizabeth Pitts. KUA made a come back in the second half but VA answered back. In a dramatic back and forth with Riley Walsh, Ellie Matte, Sophie Streed, Ani Kapral all netting goals for VA. Riley Walsh and Maggy Peyton both had hat tricks for the Wildcats. In the last 20 seconds of the game with a score of 12-13, VA won the draw and Maggie Hodgson and Ellie Matte tried to capitalize on one last play but KUA defense prevailed. Kristyna Kaltounkova had 17 saves for VA. All in all it was an incredible game and KUA and VA will face off again on Wednesday in the first round of play off games.
