Vermont Academy came up with the win after a hard fought battle with a strong Miss Hall's team. Miss Halls started the scoring off with a goal off the draw just 2 minutes into the game. VA's Sydney Henry found the back of the net soon after and the Wildcats and Miss Halls went back and forth through most of the half. VA came up 3-2 at the end of the half. The other two goals were scored by Riley Walsh and Maggy Peyton. Miss Hall's came back strong in the second half to tie it up but VA picked up their transition game and played more defensively in the midfield thanks to Elizabeth Pitts and Maggie Hodgson. Sophie Streed started the scoring off in the second half with a gorgeous goal. Ellie Matte, Riley Walsh, and Maggy Peyton all put in beautiful second-half goals for VA. Ani Kapral solidified the win with the 8th goal with just 3 minutes left in the game. Kristyna Kaltounkova had ten great saves for the Wildcats and made some great runs up the field. Goals were assisted by Ellie Matte, Sydney Henry, Maggie Hodgson, and Elizabeth Pitts. The Wildcats take on the other Wildcats (KUA) on Friday.
