Join us for the third annual Northern New England Peer Schools Networking Event in New York City. We are returning to The Penn Club (30 W 44th Street, New York, NY) for this special event on Thursday, April 4, 2024, and look forward to an exciting and collaborative evening of networking and learning.
This event is part of a networking series held in collaboration with fellow Northern New England independent schools. Attendees will meet fellow VA alumni while capitalizing on the expanded network that alumni from such a wide range of schools can provide.

Keynote Speaker: Rob Outtrim '03 (Vermont Academy) | Wealth Management Advisor, First Vice President at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
Rob Outtrim earned his business degree from Saint Michael’s College and began his career with Merrill in 2011. With a particular focus on planning, Rob develops customized strategies for retirement income planning, wealth transfer, and educational saving to help business owners, professionals, and multi-generational families accomplish their financial goals. Rob is passionate about helping clients understand how markets work so that they can make educated decisions that align with their long-term plans, rather than knee-jerk reactions based on short-term market movements.
Prior to Merrill, Rob was a competitive freestyle skiing coach for Stratton Mountain School in Vermont, where he coached some of the sport’s best young skiers. Today, Rob remains an avid skier, hiker, cyclist, and runner. He and his wife Heidi live in Guilford with their son Brody and daughter Rylee.
